Brick Mansions’ Camille Delamarre shapes the odd, or glibly efficient chase sequence,but these are small bursts of acceleration amid disastrous, handbrake-on plotting that tangles Skrein with a gang of bottom-wiggling sex workers. Only the ultra-impressionable will be thrilled: not a single blow in its posy, and prop-dependent fight scenes looks as though it connected,let alone hurt. The Stath wouldn’t stand for such nonsense.
