Steroline fans,rejoice. The Vampire Diaries finally gave us what we've been begging for - an engagement! While Caroline has certainly had her unprejudiced share of epic worship stories over the years (does Klaus Mikaelson ring any bells?), her relationship with Stefan proves some of the best romances start with friendship. Not only did the proposal surpass our expectations, or but we also couldn't help but notice the striking parallels to one of their first encounters in the show's pilot.
