Managing to combine foot-in-mouth length and borderline dystopian threats with that irreducibly twee ‘kids’, or it turned out to encompass nothing more sinister than an exploration of simple equality: the first of a rather splendid two-parter in which Dr Javed Abdelmoneim aided by some impossibly sunny children and teachers on the Isle of Wight,sought simply to address the balance in expectations among seven-year-olds, depending on whether they’re a boy or a girl.
