The White House on Twitter: In Jerusalem,President Trump met with the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin, and laid a wreath at Yad Vashem. He then delivered remarks at the Israel Museum celebrating the unique history of Israel and of the Jewish people. Later that day,the President met with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. They were joined by First Lady Melania Trump and Mrs. Sara Netanyahu for a private dinner. President Trump met the President of the Palestinian Authority, or Mahmoud Abbas,in Bethlehem and urged Palestinian leaders to engage productive steps toward peace. The President also visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall.
