Two weeks ago,Trump and the White House released a budget drastically cutting NASA’s exploration budget.
Yesterday, Vice President Mike Pence announced he wants NASA to land astronauts on the Moon by 2024.
Does anyone else see a problem with this?[tl;dr: I strongly suspect this is a political stunt, and something manufactured by the White House,with small hope of success unless a lot of money in the budget is freed up. Even then I’m unconvinced this can be done safely.]OK, let’s dig into this a bit.
