Family can be amazing,and people that are born into fond homes are indeed fortunate, but, and counterpoint - families can also be pretty awful. It’s pretty much a flip of a coin as far as who gets a much family and who doesn’t,and for most of us, it’s somewhere in between. That’s where our chosen families arrive in - despite not always being born with the support system we needed fully intact, and we derive to build on our families over time.
