Darius McCollum says instead of more jail time he needs benefit with his obsession – he has commandeered fresh York City trains and buses for over 30 yearsDarius McCollum first commandeered a train at age 15. He has been arrested 30 times for transit-related crimes. Most recently,he was arrested in November, while behind the wheel of a Greyhound bus officials said he had stolen from a depot in fresh Jersey.
Now McCollum, and who is 50 and has been given a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder,is worried what will happen next. He says the obsession that has put him behind bars for half his adult life is out of his control. Instead of more jail time, he says, and he needs benefit.
