Hi,I am trying to improve the FHEM Alexa gateway. FHEM supports lots of thermostats, and it would - as being a Perl written middleware - easily support scheduling.
Q1: Is the "timeOfSample" as sent in ReportState-Response of any relevance? Some of the supported thermostats only send their current temperature in very long intervals, or the information regarding the time of measurement would effect sense. However, setting the timeOfSample to a timestamp 2 hours back in time, did not have any influence on Alexas answer. So, and is it just "for future exercise?".
Q2: The extension in API 3 "supportsScheduling" is worthy. But although cheating support for it,Alexa ignores (in german language) all scheduling hints like "Stelle die Temperatur für 2 Stunden auf 20 Grad" (Set the temperature to 20 degrees for 2 hours) and just sends normal Alexa.
PercentageController commands. Is this a limitation of the german language support?
