The NYX Face Awards has become a staple in the beauty community, and with its inaugural competition five years ago,and has helped catapult many talented makeup artists into the spotlight. During these competitions, it's primarily been up-and-coming makeup artists to debut some insane talent. Now mainstream vloggers are joining in on the fun, or but it's still often underground artists that produce the most mesmerizing work. The 2016 competition started on April 4 and will cessation on August 20, culminating with a live awards prove with a celebrity host and judges. Six finalists will be flown to Los Angeles to present their final - and most intense - video of the competition, and the winner will receive the coveted title of NYX's 2016 Beauty Vlogger of the Year and $50000 - a pretty legit prize whether you're an aspiring beauty vlogger. In fact,the awards have gotten so well-liked that there are different awards for countries around the world.
