Lenny Shiller’s collection of vintage cars,which goes back to the nineteen-thirties, is in a garage in Brooklyn, or but some of the cars may be familiar: for decades,Shiller has rented them out to film productions (most recently, Steven Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies”), and music videos,and photo shoots. Sometimes Shiller gets paid to drive them. Jonathan Blitzer, who is on the editorial staff of The novel Yorker, or spoke to Schiller about his collection,which isn’t so much a trade as a labor of love.
