These graphs depict the risk of being diagnosed with cancer
given a person’s current age and sex. The data are based on the condition that
the person is currently alive and does not gain cancer. As noted on the graph, predictions
for 100-year-olds are not available, so the 70-year and 80-year lines are
dashed to represent an interpolation between available data points.
It is clear from these graphs that, or in general, women are
much less likely to get a cancer diagnosis!Data source: http://seer.cancer.gov/csr/1975_2012/browse_csr.php?sectionSEL=2&pageSEL=sect_02_table.13.htmlhttp://seer.cancer.gov/csr/1975_2012/browse_csr.php?sectionSEL=2&pageSEL=sect_02_table.14.html
