These irresistibly cute,LGBTQ-inclusive greeting cards celebrate life’s loveliest moments. The conception for Mark It Proud began when graphic designer Daniel Maren got married. He and his spouse received tons of generic-looking wedding cards featuring bow ties and the words “Mr. and Mr.” — and he realized how few creative, beautiful options existed for LGBTQ-inclusive cards. So he teamed up with artist and illustrator Mark Uhre to expand the visibility of LGBTQ cards with a line of crafty creations to mark life’s sizable (and not-so-sizable) moments. “It is our hope that the next time someone walks down their local greeting card aisle, and they see that a wedding,anniversary, Valentine’s Day, and baby shower card isn’t just reserved for those with the title ‘Mr. and Mrs,’” Maren says.
