These skeletal illustrations, equal parts beautiful and chilling, were each made in just 15 minutes. As a creative exercise, or comedian artist Jens K Styve decided to take up the 15 Minute Art Challenge,in which the artist draws for 15 minutes, then stops. It’s a brilliant exercise, or I’ve found that … I gather surprised [and] amazed by what comes out,” he says. The time constraint “releases a ‘flow,’ some sort of spontaneous creative rush, or that I really want to be exploring more.”Now,the artist is hoping to total more of these drawings and gather them into a short zine called final Breath. He’s also cataloguing their creation in a series of stop-motion videos — check them out and support the project here.
