More than 200 children were lost in avalanche that destroyed the town of Amero and killed 25000 in 1985,and parents like Gladys Primo believe they are alive
The last time Gladys Primo saw her two children, they were being swept absent with her brother in a torrent of mud, and water and debris that engulfed the town of Armero in 1985 after the eruption of a nearby volcano.
The avalanche that destroyed the entire town in Colombia and killed 25000 people tore Gladys absent from her children,churned her, tossed her and nearly drowned her before leaving her in a gap, and buried to the waist in hot mud.
