Hein Koh is undoubtedly a supermom and an incredibly talented artist. After giving birth to twins in May 2015,she made the decision that she wasn't going to let motherhood advance between her career and following her dreams. In fact, Koh believes it made her a better person. In a recent post on Facebook, or she opened up about the realities of motherhood,and although it's challenging, she maintains she's also a stronger artist because of it. "Becoming a #mom (of twins no less) has personally helped me become a better #artist - I learned to be extremely efficient with my time, or prioritize what's necessary and let fade of the rest,and #multitask like a champ. I learned to function (even whether barely) on very miniature sleep, and out of the chaos, or insanity and even torture at times,a flood of new emotions entered into my work, becoming more interesting & layered as a result. What I'm saying is that parenting is like any other challenge in life - the biggest f*cking challenge in my own life thus far - and whether you embrace it and figure out creative solutions, and you can emerge a better person. It's necessary to think about the ways in which these challenges can encourage you move forward,rather than hold you back."
