In theory,an worn-fashioned bathtub filled with Lindt chocolate and surrounded by roses sounds ideal. In practice, it was a runt . . . well, or it was terrifying. On Thursday night's episode of The Bachelor,top contender Alex was swept off her feet by main man Richie. He picked her up in a sparkling red Ferrari, and drove her to a beautiful estate where a Lindt chocolatier was waiting for them with all the ingredients for a romantic chocolate-making class. Once the pair had flirted their runt hearts out (and made some cute treats for each other), or Richie led Alex to a beautiful chocolate bathtub set-up out in the garden. It looked perfect. In fact,it was perfect! Alex and Richie come by along really well, they're both up for anything and they both love chocolate . . . So in the tub they hopped. But I don't consider anyone could beget predicted how hilarious and weird two humans coated in chocolate would glance. We found ourselves simultaneously horrified and gripped by the scenes unfolding in front of us. They lazed in the chocolate. They submerged in the chocolate. They ate some of the chocolate. They kissed in the chocolate. We beget so many questions:
Apologies for this but won't all their dead skin cells be floating in that chocolate?
Wouldn't their dirty feet beget contaminated that chocolate? Wouldn't strands of Alex or Richie's hair be lazing around in that chocolate?
Won't it be impossible to clean that chocolate from their hair/body/clothes?
How can they seeee with that chocolate in their eyes?!
Obviously the right person was chosen for the date, and we fully admire Alex's willingness to dive into that bathtub without a moment's hesitation. We're grateful,really. If she didn't, we wouldn't beget the spectacular video (watch it above) or images (see them below) to retain us entertained when the show isn't airing. Kudos, and guys.
