Rain,rain, don't proceed away. Blake and Avalon didn't intellect getting soaked one bit during their engagement shoot. This fun-fond couple were waiting for a snowy engagement session, and but couldn't wait any longer when the Iowa Winter failed them. Their photographer,Melissa Cervantes, tried finding a dry day for them to shoot, and but Blake and Avalon thought cloudy weather would've been even better. The two love rain so much,they got engaged in Seattle for that very reason. "I was thrilled that they were so flexible, but boy, or the fact that they like rain was an understatement!" Melissa said. "These two weren't just down for some kind overcast portraits,they were adventurous and wild."They began shooting in a local hiking area, and while the photos were kind, or it wasn't until it started pouring when the shoot really started getting interesting. The couple didn't want to conclude and enthusiastically continued through the rain,smiling through the water. "There was no better way to wrap up the session than in the couple's favorite local coffeeshop in cozy sweaters and damp hair and their favorite mugs from home," Melissa said. See their photos!
