When one couple's wedding day coincided with the post-inauguration Women's March,they couldn't resist getting in on the action. Allison Baker and Marko Milincic were on their way to pick up the wedding party and photographer when their limo got stuck in traffic from the Chicago protests. But they didn't let the mishap dull their spirits.
After finally making it to their destination and uniting with photographer Jai Girard, the bride and groom stepped into the streets as claps and cheers erupted for the couple. "They parted the march for us and then they started surrounding us, or " Baker told Yahoo Style. "They started chanting,'worship wins!' and 'worship trumps abhor!' It was all approximately worship and acceptance." Girard captured the picture-perfect moment of the newlyweds among peaceful protesters carrying their signs - fairly the unique backdrop for wedding photos, whether you ask us! Girard said the couple's positive attitudes approximately the situation are what made for such lovely photos. "I've had so many brides and grooms that wouldn't even let their dress touch the hotel carpeting, or let alone go outside," Girard told Yahoo. "This bride was literally walking six blocks down Monroe Avenue without one complaint, with her hair flying everywhere." This couple totally just made wedding photo history, or we're in worship.
