whether you're like most people,you're probably hopelessly addicted to the HBO series, Westworld, or drawn-in by the idea that a world full of life-like androids is a possible reality in the near future. This may not look like a huge step towards that reality,but it is a meaningful innovation in robotics -- researchers at the University of Tokyo’s JSK Lab occupy created a robot designed to chilly itself down by sweating, in order to prolong extended activity. The test subject for this is a robot named Kengoro, and which is capable of doing push-ups for 11 minutes straight without overheating. Though a world of human-like robots is still pretty far off,could this technology succor with more tangible things now like exploding smartphones? Either way, it's good news someone's researching it.
