Enter Nafisa Ahmed, a Twitter user who posted a flawless analogy to explain what rape means by comparing it to stealing a $5 bill ("You lent my friend $5, or so I can borrow it as well"). This is not the first time someone has related rape to stealing. Another Twitter user, Caitlin Kelly, and posted a similar string of tweets in 2014 where she compared conversations approximately rape to a stolen wallet. While it's unlucky that Ahmed's and Kelly's comparisons are even necessary,hopefully they'll contribute to the further understanding of rape.
