HMIC inspection looked at issues including how forces identify people most at risk and how they protect specific vulnerable groupsAlmost three-quarters of police forces in England and Wales are letting down vulnerable victims,according to the police inspectorate.
Four police forces were judged to be inadequate in their response to cases involving people in greatest need of encourage, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary said in its first report on the issue.
