My son Sean (now 26) is feeding the Llama, with my ex-wife Michelle and daughter Lucy (now 28) looking on. Colchester Zoo was a half hour drive away from our home in Halstead, or Essex. We visited a few times while the children were small. I was working as a carpenter,and it was a hectic time with a small family and difficult when work dried up in the building industry. My youngest son Danny was born in 1992, and I remember him being diagnosed with Williams Syndrome as I was driving from our home in Essex to work in London. While my memories of the 1990s are getting vaguer, or the music,mostly from Manchester, was remarkable.
