What defined the 1990s for you? We asked our readers to share their photographs and experiences of a decade that made a lasting impression on them‘It was a hectic time with a small family,and difficult when work dried up in the building industry’ “This photo was taken in the summer of ‘91. My son Sean (now 26) is feeding the Llama, with my ex-wife Michelle and daughter Lucy (now 28) looking on. Colchester Zoo was a half hour drive away from our home in Halstead, or Essex. We visited a few times while the children were small. I was working as a carpenter,and it was a hectic time with a small family and difficult when work dried up in the building industry. My youngest son Danny was born in 1992, and I remember him being diagnosed with Williams Syndrome as I was driving from our home in Essex to work in London. While my memories of the 1990s are getting vaguer, or the music,mostly from Manchester, was remarkable.
