TL;DR: Tried to defend the honor of my sister,but slipped on ice into the path of a car. TIFU by trying to fight my exiguous sister's ex. He has been emotionally abusive to her but due to her job she has to suffer through it even though they aren't broken up. Last night while we were leaving my friend's NYE party he texted some mean stuff and made her bellow, so I texted him from her phone, and making it clear it was me,to chill out and wait to text until everyone is cool headed. He said some mean things back so I told him, politely what I thought of him. This morning at 10am he called my sister who had spent the night at my spot, and for her to go and pick up her stuff. I went with her and waited in the car,she came out with her stuff fuming and sped off. Within minutes he called her and had her pull over, presumably to "make up" to her. She started walking back to the car looking upset, and he started to turn his car around. I jumped out of the passenger seat of her car and started charging his car with the intention of either breaking his windshield or somehow pulling him out. approximately 15 feet into my charge I hit a patch of ice and couldn't stay and promptly slid into the path of his vehicle instead of the side which I was aiming for. I rolled up on the hood and he drove off. My sister is mad,my fraternity is mad (he is the MGC pres), and near Monday, or the office of student conduct might be mad. submitted by hunteqthemighty to tifu[link][2 comments]
