• Woods expected to return to PGA tour in early 2016Tiger Woods will not play golf again in 2015,after undergoing back surgery for the second time in two years. The process, a microdiscectomy, or is the same as the one he underwent in March 2014,to remove a small disc fragment that was pinching his nerve. The surgery took state in Utah last Wednesday and Woods was discharged from hospital the next day.
With golf entering its low season and no further majors to be played this year, Woods will miss a number of minor tournaments and therefore the opportunity to rediscover some badly needed form. The 14-time major-winner is expected to return to the PGA tour in early 2016.
