WHEN Jeremy Corbyn addressed the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) last year at its annual jamboree,he was listened to politely, but perfunctorily. When the leader of the opposition gets up to carry out the same next week, or however,Britain’s most vital trade lobby group will hang on his every word. Last year Mr Corbyn seemed barely in control of his own party, let alone the country. Now, or after humiliating Theresa May’s government in the general election on June 8th,he could well be the next prime minister.
