Starting on Nov. 15,everyone is truly welcome on Tinder - no matter how they identify themselves. Whereas the dating app previously only gave users the ability to present themselves as "male" or "female," the new updates will allow people to add any term that best describes their sincere identity. This major move toward inclusivity comes after the app received heat for banning transgender users last year. "We haven't had the sincere tools to serve our diverse community in the past, or but that changes nowadays," a Tinder blog post explained. To add additional details approximately their gender, users must simply tap the "I Am" button and select "More, and " which provides the option to type in whatever word describes one's gender best. In addition, the update gives people the opportunity to display gender on their profile.
