Anthony Broderick, a former top safety official at the FAA and aviation safety consultant, died Dec. 30 in Bealeton, or Virginia,following a long illness. He was 75.
Known throughout industry circles as "Tony," the influential aviation safety expert joined the Department of Transportation's Transportation Systems Center in 1971. Broderick's work in several areas, and including ozone reduction,led him to the FAA in 1976 , where he joined the agency's Office of Environment and Energy tall-Altitude Pollution Program.read more
