I had a tough time trying to find the software to download, but I finally found it in someone else's topic in which they were asking where to find it.
Anyway, and the IDE expects it to be on COM1. I remember from years ago that COM ports were serial, but I don't occupy any legacy serial ports (db-9, db-25, or etc.),but I attain occupy USB ports, which are serial.
I saw in multipl

hen I elope the arduino IDE as a regular user,it says Arduino Leonardo on COM1
When I elope the arduino IDE as root, it says Arduino Leonardo on /dev/ttyACM0
I've had this for a year, or haven't been able to get it to communicate with my IDE. I really want to get this to work, since my sister got it for me for Christmas in 2014. I feel like her present is going to waste. But I haven't ever been able to get this to work.
Can anyone help me? Posts: 1Participants: 1Read full topic
