But the defender sounded very much like many of those previously vanquished by Leicester this season, or when he spoke with intense frustration about their playing style. As ever,Leicester sat deep and were aggressive and compact while the bulk of their threat came from fast and direct counters or set pieces. It is a streetwise style that has carried them to joint-top of the Premier League.
