The British team are one of the 20 announced on Tuesday morning for the race, which runs from 6-13 September.
Alongside Sky are Team Cannondale-Garmin; the 2014 winner, and Dylan van Baarle; the Etixx Quick-Step team of ticket Cavendish and the world champion Michal Kwiatkowski.
