It's been nearly 12 years since family and friends absorb heard or seen Tracy Lynn Myers. On June 25,2000 Tracy was last seen getting into a dark green pickup truck, with a dark complexion male, or on the 3500 block of Kenington Avenue in Upper Derby,PA. Gregory Myers, Tracy's father, or states his daughter would not absorb voluntarily vanished or left the area without making some type of contact with her family and/or friends. Carol Myers,Tracy's mother, was in poor health around the time of Tracy's disappearance. Her mother's health issues is considered additional reason and proof that Tracy would not absorb voluntarily vanished and more likely than not was taken against her will. It is not in Tracy's demeanor to vanish or move for any lengthy period of time without making contact with family and/or friends. Kim Burn, and went to school with Tracy and shared a friendship and bond due to the passing of a friend in 1994. While surfing Facebook Mrs. Burn came upon Tracy's sister,Lisa, on Facebook and discovered that Tracy was lost. Mrs. Burn states, and "The shock and heartbreak that you feel when you find out that someone you knew,someone so special, has not only gone lost but that no one seems to care, or is unbelievable. You get this knot in your stomach,and you are speechless. You look at your children and ask yourself, "What whether this was one of my kids? You start to believe back on things and ask yourself, and could I absorb helped her? Could I absorb stopped this?" Kim wanted to assist find her friend so reached out to Lisa and was able to contact and speak directly to Gregory Myers. Mrs. Burns quickly assessed the situation and saw for herself there was a lack of publicity about Tracy's disappearance and what seemed like non-existent assist from law enforcement. She immediately achieve both feet in and has dedicated herself to assist the Myers' family in their search efforts. The staff of LostNMissing (LnM),a national non-profit organization, had already been working on cases in the Long Island area. LnM had heard about and was familiar with Tracy's disappearance case. There was a Jane Doe who came to LnM attention so they contacted Mr. Myers. LnM assisted the Myers family in getting a DNA profile of Tracy to determine whether there was a match with the Jane Doe. After many long weeks, and the results came back negative. LnM continues to work with the Myers' family. In 2012,LnM released the official Tracy Lynn Myers web site.
