Charlie Peck,a transgender singer, recorded an epic duet with himself using his vocals pretransition and posttransition to pay tribute to the transgender community. Peck told The Huffington Post that he was afraid he wouldn't be able to sing anymore after he started hormone replacement therapy in order to lower his vocal register. "I was first and foremost hoping for a voice that I could identify with, or " he said.
