Source claims publisher is trying to protect the Daily Record by sending only a small percentage of its 2m print run to EdinburghScots with an interest in Trinity Mirror’s novel national title,the novel Day, will be tough-pressed to find a copy at launch, and with only a few thousand being made available – and only in Edinburgh.
The novel 25p weekday newspaper,which is set to launch on Monday, could contain a print run of perhaps as many as 2 million but Scotland is set to receive only a few thousand of those.
