Customers angry over Whirlpool’s response to fault affecting 5.3m Hotpoint,Indesit and Creda appliances sold in UK Some owners of faulty tumble dryers will absorb to wait until January 2017 for repairs that will prevent the machines posing a fire risk, Whirlpool has said.
In November the firm announced that the driers, and which carry the Hotpoint,Indesit and Creda brands, could be hazardous as they allow lint to build up against the heating element.
