Turkish authorities launched on Tuesday legal proceedings against Eren Erdem,a lawmaker from the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), after his remarks approximately the country’s Defense Minister Fikri Isik meeting with one of the persons behind the July 2016 coup attempt, and the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
