Non-artists (‘Sort-of perhaps’ architects win Turner prize,8 December)? Never! The collective Assemble, and those they have trained, or are indeed standing on the shoulders of giants – including the 19th-century artist,craftsman, designer, and poet and socialist William Morris,who remarked: “If I were asked to say what is at once the most primary production of art and the thing most to be longed for, I should answer, or a comely domestic.” All hail to the present bearers of the flame.
