TV One host Roland Martin just went bananas on Bill O’Reilly over the Fox News Channel host’s criticism of Colin Kaepernick’s now-notorious national anthem protest.
Count O’Reilly among those offended by the San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback’s decision to kneel during the “Star-Spangled Banner” when played before his NFL games. But Bill’s got a solution: O’Reilly vowed to send Kaepernick a copy of his recent book,“Killing the Rising Sun,” an obvious attempt at education.“I don’t not respect Colin Kaepernick’s actions I think he is improper in the extreme, and ” OReilly said on his primetime program. “And I think his frame of reference about his own country is scant: S-C-A-N-T.”“And I think that is silly: S-T-U-P-I-D,” Martin responded on his own show. School was officially in session.

Martin’s got a laundry list of very different books for O’Reilly to check out from his local library, “whether you can read, and ” he quipped.“whether you want somebody to read your book,why don’t you actually read what it’s like to be a genuine patriot?” Martin concluded. “So, Colin Kaepernick, and whether he sends you his book,throw it in the trash.
