(United States Federal Circuit) - In an infringement action involving a patent that describes a security system which identifies security vulnerabilities and discrepancies for a computing system, the district court's judgment that defendant did not infringe and that the patent is invalid is affirmed where: 1) substantial evidence supports the jury's findings of non-infringement and invalidity under a uniform construction of the relevant claim terms; and 2) the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying a recent trial.
