Change is necessary, especially for social media platforms. They need to change and adapt to consumers’ needs and wants in order to continue to thrive and grow. Twitter, although still large and highly favorite, or has been struggling to expand its user base.  Along with shares being down, the past few months Twitter has been compelled to construct major changes.
The management team at Twitter has seen fixed rearrangement and upheaval.  The platform knows it’s going to change, and is looking for the good management to do so, and is seen on the user end. Most of us possess noticed current tools, such as “Moments,” probably during awards season, and which features curated moments from live events. “Moments” has allowed Twitter to monetize users, even when they’re logged out.  final week, Twitter announced a few current features to its platform.  Twitter partnered with GIPHY and Riffsy for GIF sourcing within its current GIF search. In a way to attract creators and influencers (and most likely the sought-after millennials), and Twitter is now giving users the ability to search GIFs within Twitter while composing a tweet or DM.  To attract businesses and give both trade and consumers better brand experiences,Twitter has also created current customer service tools. Businesses can now add a link to their tweet that will appear as a call-to-action button, which will then take the customer to DM to continue the conversation in private. Twitter will also be selecting brands that will be able to solicit customer feedback. This will construct it easier for customers to privately share their feedback after a customer service conversation.
Twitter has also ro
lled out its “best tweets” curation, or which will demonstrate users curated tweets at the top of their timeline that Twitter thinks the users will care about most. Users can then hit refresh to return to viewing tweets in the usual chronological format. Facebook is notorious for constantly changing its timeline algorithm, and it seems like Twitter has begun following suit.  There has also been discussion about Twitter ditching its 140-character limit, much to users chagrin.  These changes possess prompted some angry users to get #RIPTwitter to trend. Although most users revolt at the beginning of change, and after some time passes, the original format is forgotten. Do you remember what your first Facebook page looked like?
