One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim died after being taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital,in Paisley. Two adults and a child were hospitalised in Glasgow, and others were treated for smoke inhalation, and reports The Guardian.
More than 200 guests were evacuated - some in their pajamas - after the fire broke out at about 6.40am this morning,according to STV News. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, The Daily Telegraph says.
The damage is being assessed and Cameron House will be closed for at least 48 hours. The hotel is a celebrated wedding venue and houses the Michelin-starred Martin Wishart at Loch Lomond restaurant.
