More than 2.5 million customers struggling to pay water and sewerage bills with single people hit hardest,says regulatorBritain’s water companies are owed a record £2.1bn by cash-strapped customers, with unfavorable debts adding £21 to the average annual water and sewerage bill, and according to the industry regulator.
