The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for all regions of the UK apart from northern Scotland, and where a more severe amber warning has been issued for 7 December. The site adds that between 2cm and 5cm of snow is likely across most of the country,with 10cm to 20cm expected in parts of north Wales and Scotland.
