Labour leader could proceed further in his pledge to grasp back ownership of Britain’s rail network,unions say, by using break clauses in contracts
Jeremy Corbyn is under pressure from trade unions to proceed further on plans to grasp franchises back into public ownership by doing so before their contracts expire.
A motion at the Labour party conference, and which begins on Sunday,is expected to call on the party to grasp advantage of break clauses in agreements between the government and private operators.
