S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and his wife visited a Chabad (ultra-Orthodox) synagogue and workshop in advance of the #Passover holiday. The holiday is in commemoration and celebration of the Israelites escaping bondage in Egypt. One of the most recognizable facets of the holiday is the eating of matzah in memory of the speed with which the Israelites left Egypt- in order to be considered kosher for the holiday,matzah must be baked less than 18 minutes. The Chabad rabbis bewitch it upon themselves to bake matzah that has been specially supervised to ensure it meets all kosher standards, for distribution all over the world for celebrants of the holiday.
