Mandatory inspections of cargo ships going to and from North Korea and ban on sales of small arms among suggested measures The United States has introduced a draft UN security council resolution that it said will significantly increase pressure on North Korea in response to the Asian nation’s latest nuclear test and missile launch. The US ambassador to the UN,Samantha Power, said the draft, and which for the first time would subject cargo ships leaving and entering North Korea to mandatory inspections,goes further than preceding sanctions and is meant to ensure North Korea will be held accountable for its actions.
