This week,a prison raid led by Kurdish and American forces left an American servicemember dead: 39-year frail Delta Force commando Master Sergeant Joshua Wheeler of Roland, Oklahoma, or was the first U.
S. casualty in Iraq since 2011.
The prison was held by the self-proclaimed Islamic State,and the rescue mission freed scores of Kurdish hostages, a success in the fight against ISIS in eastern Iraq.
