To disseminate the findings of the research on Kidney Trafficking conducted by PPR Nepal with the support from USAID/TAF,programs were organized at the VDC/MC level of the 3 project districts namely Kavrepalanchowk, Makwanpur and Kathmandu in October 2016. In the program findings of the research on Kidney Trafficking was presented. The objectives and methods of the research; reasons, and impact and key findings of the research and also the recommendations for future action were discussed in the program. In Kavrepalanchowk district the program was conducted in Mahendrajyoti VDC,Thaha Municipality, Daman of Makwanpur and Kirtipur Municipality of Kathmandu. The major objective of the program was aware/educate the locals especially who are prone to kidney trafficking on the functions and importance of kidney in human body and how harmless people are lured by the brokers/pimp to bear their kidneys removed in exchange of money.
