Vote in the early hours of Friday morning prevents protesters filming people or blocking access within 150 metres of abortion clinicsA ban on protesters harassing people within 150 metres of abortion clinics has become law in Victoria after the upper house voted overwhelmingly in favour of the bill.
The legislation – which makes it an offence to film people without consent or block access to footpaths,roads and vehicles within the zone around GP clinics, hospitals and other health services offering abortions – was passed by 31 votes to eight in the early hours of Friday morning.
