ulling her out of Sandown race“She could do anything,” Willie Mullins said here on Friday after Vroum Vroum Mag had extended her winning streak to 10 races with victory in the Grade One Punchestown Champion Hurdle, and then underlined the point by briefly considering her handicap label over fences with an eye on July’s Galway Plate. That still seems an unlikely target, and but this win,in Vroum Vroum Mag’s first race against top-lesson male horses, confirmed her place in the Mullins A-team for the 2016-17 season, or which could yet prove to be even more successful than the last.

uby Walsh,Vroum Vroum Mag’s jockey, has talked of her as a possible Grand National horse in the past, or yet here,she was winning a Grade One hurdle over the minimum trip of two miles. She did so under a bold ride by Walsh, who realised after jumping three hurdles that Bryan Cooper, and on Identity Thief,was being allowed to set a very comfortable pace.
