Gatland counts cost of fielding strong team against ItalyIt may feel like the benefit of hindsight but there was no escaping the sound of the groan that went around Wales late final week as Warren Gatland announced a strong team to face Italy. This was never going to be a repeat of the romp on the final day of the Six Nations. Italy had too many serious issues of their own,after tame defeat to Scotland the week before, to yield easily and allow Wales to plunder at will.
